Book SVG Designs: Free SVG Files Perfect For Any Bookworm

share on social:

These book SVG designs are made for those who love to read and want to proudly show it off!

After God and my family, y’all know crafting is my first love, but books are a close second, so of course, I had to design some book SVG freebies for you!

If I’m not up late crafting then you can usually find me up reading.  I tend to go through phases with the style of book that I like to read but really there is just something about feeling the pages and drowning out the world around me to become apart of the story.

Big Dreams

When I was younger, I used to dream of having a library in my house one day. A craft room, a library, and Amazon delivery…. #goals

The only problem would be, I would NEVER leave… LOL!

Baby Book Lovers

So instead of living a life of confinement, I decided to try and instill a love of reading in my household.

We like to take trips to the library regularly and read together every single night before bed.

Have you been to your local library lately? They have some pretty cool things available for you to use 100% FREE! (Just like these book SVG files are 100% free)

Now, let me clarify that not all my kids are as avid of readers as others and that’s ok. It doesn’t come as easy for all of them (more details on that later) but with the right tools, my philosophy is if they don’t like to read, they just haven’t found the right book yet.

Side note: Even if they are listening to the book being read to them… it counts!

I encourage them to branch out, try different styles, authors, and adventures until they find something they love.

Where to Start

If you haven’t been to your local library recently I encourage you to check it out! They have so much cool stuff there and ours even stopped charging late fees after Covid.

(Although I don’t encourage you to keep overdue books, this was a fun fact to hear)

It was so fun on our most recent trip to the library to see how each of my kids immediately dispersed to their favorite section of books. One to mysteries, another off to non-fiction, and my oldest to historical fiction and sports fiction.

If you are looking for some good books for your little ones and are still unsure of where to start I encourage you to check out @kitonlit on Instagram.

We found her through the radio show we listen to on the way to school each morning and love following along with her suggestions.

Book SVG Designs

Anyway back to the Book SVG designs that I have for you today.

I have designed several different book SVG files that you can mix and match and create endless amounts of projects with!  They work smoothly with both Silhouette and Cricut cutting machines and can be used with a variety of vinyl.

BORN TO READ FORCED TO SOCIALIZE

I know several people who could use this shirt!

To download the file scroll down to the bottom of the post and download this free book file there.

I put the design in white on this mock up but it would be cute really in any color.

I could even see it on a sign in a library!

INTROVERT, EXTROVERT, BOOKTROVERT

One of my favorite things about reading is really getting to know the characters in the story.

I love feeling like I am a part of their world but sometimes it can get kind creepy. When I read The Silent Patient I was glad I wasn’t in that world by the time the book was done.

The book was great (I read it in ONE DAY) but it had a thrilling twist that left me locking all my doors.

Back to the Book SVG designs… What can you see yourself putting this design on?

Scroll down to the bottom of the post to download it today for free!

BOOKMARKS ARE FOR QUITTERS

I just think this phrase is too funny and also very true.

I don’t know how many times I’ve stayed up waaaayyyy past my bedtime reading a good book.

I got sucked into a sweet romantic comedy called Ladies Night last weekend about a lifestyle blogger and couldn’t put it down. There is just something about a happy ending that gets me every time.

This book SVG file hit home for me and was probably my favorite to design.

I Closed My Book to be Here

As you might know by now, I love to add in humor to all of my SVG files. These book SVG freebies are no different.

The shirt says it all!

Before you download these freebie book svg files below I would appreicate it you took a moment to pin one (or all) of the images above.

That way you can remember which designs you have downloaded!

DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE BOOK SVG FILES HERE:

Just a friendly reminder that these designs are inside of a zipped file folder.  If you are on a phone or a table you will need to make sure you have an app to unzip and download the file.  When you click the file link and it says not connected click the three dots in the top corner and select open in safari.

Inside of each of the folders there are 4 different file types.  Learn about the difference between PNG and SVG files which are both included inside the file download, to help make your crafting process smoother and quicker.

Oh my Gosh! These are fabulous and SO me! I have been an avid reader for over 65 years! These are just too, too precious! I just donated over 75 books to the nursing home my hubby is in. Mostly Danielle Steele but also a few others! I’m so stuck on James Patterson. My grandson was helping me clean out the bookcase to donate and said, “Nana, do you know how many James Patterson books you have?” Of course, I don’t know! Thanks ever so much!

You are very welcome! I love James Patterson too!! Enjoy and happy reading and crafting 🙂
