FREE RAINBOW SVG FILE

Who doesn’t love a beautiful rainbow?  They are a sign of a promise to come.  A beautiful free gift in the sky for all of us to enjoy no matter where life finds us at that very moment.  Today I have designed my own version of a rainbow and made it into an SVG for y’all to download free of cost.  You can use this file for personal or commercial use and place it anywhere you need to see those little reminders of future promises.  In my opinion you can never have too many.

While we don’t mind if you make finished products with our designs, please do not digitally distribute the file.  Feel free to direct people to this post so they can download it for free themselves.  Thanks so much for understanding!

Symbol of Hope

A rainbow occurs in nature when light is reflected and refracted through the water.  This is why we see them after rainstorms in the sky.  The light is moving through the water droplets and creating a beautiful picture for us.  In the bible it says that the rainbow is a symbol to God’s people that he would never flood the earth again.  A promise of hope and future.

Have you ever heard of a rainbow baby?  A rainbow baby is a child that is born after a miscarriage, stillborn, or other natural causes in an infant.  We have another free design (pictured below) perfect for rainbow babies, where we also share how to use deco foil on your projects.  The deco foil is a great wait to get a rainbow look on any design!  (and I know the photo is backwards… it is a screenshot from a FB live and it always flips the view like a mirror)

No matter how you look at it, a rainbow is a beautiful phenomena.  It occurs with right ingredients of light, water, and the correct position of your viewpoint.  This rainbow SVG design is a way that you can bring that beauty to your world without having to wait for it to occur naturally in the sky.

Practice Gratitude

I want to encourage you to take a moment our of your busy schedule to reflect.  In today’s world if your schedule looks like mine then that might feel hard to do.  Trust me, I get it.  My business name has chaos in it for a reason.  Play along with me for a second though.

Some of you might be thinking come on Michelle, just give me the freebie…. and if that’s you feel free to scroll on down.

But, if you have just 30 seconds I want you to do this little mental exercise with me.  I did it while I was designing this rainbow and I finished feeling lighter and more positive about the day ahead.

Think about something you are grateful for.  Big or small doesn’t matter just as long as you are grateful for it.  Close your eyes and reflect on why you have gratitude in relation to that thing.  Doing this (I recommend on a regular basis) helps to keep your outlook positive and reminds you of the good things you have, even if it is something as small as receiving this free SVG today.

Ideas and Inspiration

One of my favorite things about designing SVG files is all the cools ways that y’all are able to bring the ideas to life.  This rainbow design would be fun not only on shirts but also as decals and even put together on the front of a card.  Imagine all the cool color combos of vinyl you could use to really make it pop!

Remember When

I couldn’t resist sharing this beautiful rainbow that we saw in the sky several years ago on my birthday.   There is something about seeing these happen organically in nature that always just makes me pause in awe.  It was even more special that it was on my birthday.
