This design is simple enough that you can wear it for any team but also cute enough to look great! 

It would be cute to even take it a step further by personalizing it with a team name, number on the football, or your team colors.  So many choices!

Football Family

This design has a ton of ways that you could make it specific for each member in your family that is wearing it.  You could change it up with the colors, names, keeping the squiggles or even taking them away.

The word football itself might be a little tricky to weed with those small pieces but these tips for weeding should help you out. 

And don’t forget to mirror your design.  It always seems like I forget when I have only the one sheet of HTV to use for my project.

This design is 100% me.  I love gathering with family and friends for fellowship but also for the yummy food.  Is it really even a football watching party without the yummy snacks?  I think NOT!

Center The Design

I believe that the hardest part about making a shirt (aside from ensuring you have the right cut settings on your machine) is centering the design.

It is so tricky because sometimes the shirt itself isn’t even or symmetrical.  Honestly, it rarely is! 

There is no worse feeling that going through all the time to find a design, get it sized and cut properly, weed out everything you don’t want, and apply only to then realize you goofed and it is totally off center. 

My absolutely favorite and quickest way to make sure my design is centered on the shirt is by folding it in half and using the crease in the shirt to guide me.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for how far down from the collar you want to place it too.  I like to use what I call the fingertip rule.  The SVG can typically go directly underneath 3 finger tips from the bottom of the shirt collar on an adult shirt. 

This alignment tool is also super handy if you are team ruler and don’t want to eyeball the measurements.

How Much to Charge

File Type Reminder:  If possible make sure to utilize the SVG file type.  It will make your life so much easier if you want to ungroup, cut in different colors, and manipulate the elements of the design. 

When just beginning with your machine, deciphering the various file types can be very confusing. 

• First double check that you have unzipped the file. 
• Once it is unzipped the files might say html file or even internet explorer file (these are both the SVG). 
• Bottom line is if you aren’t able to ungroup and manipulate the elements in the design you might be uploading the wrong file!
