Laundry SVG: Spice Up Your Laundry Room With One Of These Free SVG Files

Today as I was standing in my laundry room (folding the never ending cycle of clothes) it dawned on me how much time I really do spend in there.  But weirdly enough, I haven’t taken the time to make any cute decor with laundry SVG files for the space.  

So today, in honor of the lack of decor in my own laundry room here are three free laundry SVG files that you can use to spice up your own space. I mean let’s face it, the amount of hours we spend in there sorting, washing, drying, and folding we might as well have some cute stuff to look at and be proud of! Here are three laundry SVG files that you can use to personalize the space we probably neglect the most but spend so many hours of our life in. 

Add these designs as a decal on your wall, paint a sign with one of the SVG files, or even use some HTV on a wood sign.  The point is… use these free laundry SVG files to make your laundry space cute!

Laundry Open 24 Hours

This laundry svg file is just classic laundry room decor, in my opinion.  Between my teenage daughter and my four year old, my laundry room literally never closes.  This design 100% suits my current stage of life and know it will fit some of yours too. 

It would be super cute to use this design in adhesive vinyl on the laundry room door.  Especially if you have one of the doors that has glass in the middle. 

Just make sure if you have a door that is painted you use removable vinyl.  You don’t want the vinyl and design to peel off the paint.

Learn about all the different types of vinyl and then, make the best choice for your project.

 

Laundry Wash. Dry. Fold. Repeat.

The never ending cycle.  It seems like as soon as I have the counter totally cleared off and all the clothes finally in their drawers (or at least in the correct kid’s room) the basket is already full again and ready to go.

Can you feel my pain?  And don’t worry, yes, everyone is in charge of putting their own clothes away.  😉 

This laundry SVG design is absolutely captain obvious, but in my opinion there is still something so classic about the finished sign.  

 

Laundry: Always Loads of Fun.

You can hear the sarcasm loud and clear through this design. 

Even though it has a little bit of sass it would still look so cute in either classic black and white/cream colors or something a little funkier!

If you go the funky color route you might even want to use glitter HTV on wood! 

So many ways to make it your own and… talk about making laundry fun!

Every single one of these Laundry SVG designs will work seamlessly with a Silhouette or Cricut cutting machine.  Remember to make the project your own and have it fit your own taste and style.  That’s when we really begin to feel pride in our creations.

It can feel very overwhelming at times so here are a few tips, tricks, and tutorials, to get you going.

At the end of the day though, you have to find what works for YOU! That means sampling, experimenting, and testing things out.  Have fun with it, then make sure to stick to your favs so you can perfect your process and refine your skills.

My favorite spot for vinyl is hands down Expressions Vinyl.  Their mystery box is a fun way to keep the vinyl in my stash fresh but also try out things I never would have thought to initially buy.

Just a friendly reminder:  As you upload the file into your software to cut the design, first confirm that you are uploading the SVG file.  It will make your life so much easier to use that file type.  If you aren’t able to ungroup the design you might be uploading the wrong one!

Silhouette Studio basic edition users will need to use the DXF version of the laundry file. 

Show Off Your Work!

When you create you move through a cycle.  I like to call this cycle the craft maker process.  In the final stage of the craft maker process it is time to display and show off your work. 

When you share what you are creating you inspire others to get out of their own crafty funk and have fun creating as well.  This community is about lifting each other up which is why that step in the cycle is so crucial!
