It is my hope that this design speaks to you as much as it speaks to me.  I want you to always know that you are enough.

That tool will help give you an idea of what you should be charging per item.  You will factor in the cost of supplies, how long it takes to make an item, and how much you want to get paid per hour.

Even if you are just beginning, don’t be afraid to charge enough so you can make a profit!  In order for a small business to be healthy and growing you must have a profit.

File Type Reminder:  When possible make sure to utilize the layered SVG file type when cutting on your machine.  It will be so much easier to ungroup, cut in different colors, and manipulate the elements of the design. 

When just beginning with your machine, deciphering the various file types can be very confusing.  Here are a couple tips that should help you out:

• Make sure the file is unzipped. 
• The SVG is the one that says html file or even internet explorer or Chrome file. 
• If you cannot ungroup the design you might have the wrong file uploaded.
• Try to avoid the DXF file type if possible.
