Santa SVG: Free Designs for Silhouette or Cricut Cutting Machines
Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right to your downloads folder! Ok that isn’t as cute as the actual song, but you get my drift! These two Santa SVG files on today’s post really balance each other out.
Let me explain…
If you are looking for something to personalize, I have got you covered.
If you are looking for a funny saying that you can wear on a t-shirt or jammies, I have also got you covered.
My three boys all still believe in Santa and I never had to have the ‘official’ talk with my daughter. She is a senior in high school now so I’m pretty sure she knows… LOL!
But, because of the age difference between her and the boys (7 years) she naturally began to become a ‘Santa’ for them. It was such a beautiful thing to watch.
These Santa SVG files are the perfect addition to your holiday crafting digital folder. Just make sure to use them… you don’t want them to get stuck in your downloads graveyard!
You can head to the end of the post to download both of these free Santa SVG files.
Please note that the images used in this post are mock up images.
Santa Face – Ready To Personalize
When drawing clipart and designs for y’all to use in your projects, I always try to think about how you might use them. In this case I thought that personalizing Santa’s image with a name would be the perfect way to finish him off.
He has a little bit of shading on his beard to give him dimension but the cool thing is you can also leave it off if you don’t want to layer.
The font that I used for the Your Name Here part of this mock up is called Beachwood.
Dear Santa, Don’t Believe Everything You Hear
This Santa SVG design is a fun one. If it gave you a little chuckle them I’m sure you will also love these naughty list holiday designs
I like this design because it would look so cute all in one color (and the Santa hat as the highlight) or broken up into a few different shades as pictured below. That Santa hat would be adorable with some brick HTV or even with some stripflock pro.
Santa’s Favorite
This design is a fun freebie that I can see making for all my kids. I can see it being so cute in a photo with them all having the same shirt on! Download this Santa SVG below.
Don’t Forget
I can’t wait to see your design and project once you have brought the files to life! Make sure to display your project inside our Facebook Community By showing off your creations and projects you inspire others to get creating as well. It is amazing how just one post can spark so many ideas inside the community.
Getting Started
The most important part of any project is getting started. If you stay stuck in the downloading or collecting ideas stage there comes a point when you start feeling defeated. Defeated before you have even begun, because of the overwhelm you are experiencing. Here are a few tips I have to help you get the ball rolling:
- Start with ONE
- It’s important to pick one thing (it doesn’t have to be huge) to focus on. If not, we will constantly feel like our time, ideas, budget, and creativity is split. Focus on narrowing it down to help reduce your overwhelm.
- Choose a color scheme!
- Pick out when SVG you want to bring to life first and then pick out your colors. Once you start envisioning your project, I promise you will want to see it through to completion.
- Jump In
- Get started and don’t stop ’til it is finished!
The reality is no project is ever perfect. The wonderful thing is though, that there is so much beauty in the process and lessons we learn along the way. If you are getting stuck or frustrated, the material you are using DOES make a difference. My favorite spot for vinyl is hands down Expressions Vinyl.

Download your Santa SVG Files Here:
Please note that all the Santa SVG free files are all inside zipped folders. You will need to unzip the file folder first to access the SVG file inside.
Helpful tip when working with the Santa SVG files: As you upload the design into your software first confirm that you are uploading the SVG file. It can be confusing at first which one that is. It might say under file type html file or even internet explorer file as the file type. If you aren’t able to ungroup and manipulate the elements in the design you might be uploading the wrong one!
