Toilet Paper SVG Files:  The Perfect Gift for Someone Who Has Everything

You definitely have to have a sense of humor for today’s blog post.  These toilet paper svg files are perfect to use for a unique gift, a white elephant party, or just for the person (or teenager) who has it all.

For some reason living in a house full of boys, these designs came rather naturally.  I actually heard one of my boys singing the phrase ‘Do you smell what I smell’ in the car one day.  It immediately was added to my ongoing list of designs to create.

Even though these seem pretty silly, they are guaranteed to bring a smile to the recipients face and will be a fabulous ice breaker and conversation starter.

Scroll down to the bottom of the post to download both of the toilet paper svg files.

Each design can be used for both personal and commercial use up to 200 uses.  As strange as it sounds, these can be huge sellers too!

I would love to hear if you have found success with toilet paper designs.  Or even who you plan on making some of them for.

There is always that one person who is hard to shop for… BAM toilet paper to save the day.

Please note that all the images used to display the toilet paper svg designs in this post are mock up images.

How To Apply The Vinyl

When deciding how you want to go about creating these fun toilet paper svg projects, there are a couple different ways that you can go about it.

You can either use HTV on the toilet paper or Adhesive vinyl on the toilet paper.

If you use HTV don’t forget to mirror your design when cutting. If you decide to go the adhesive vinyl route make sure that you use a very non-tacky transfer tape.  You could even apply the vinyl to the bag the toilet paper goes in, instead of the roll itself.

Pricing

Like I mentioned above, these toilet paper rolls are definitely a conversation piece.

Due to the uniqueness of the gift, they typically sell pretty well at craft fairs. Use our pricing calculator to figure out exactly what to charge.

I usually make a deal if they are purchased in a bundle though.  So something along the lines of $7 for one roll, $6 each for two, and $5 each for three or more.

REMINDER:

If you are a Silhouette user and are using the basic/free version of Silhouette Studio you will need to upload the DXF instead of the SVG.  The SVG file will give you an error message and will not open in your software.

Unfortunately the DXF version of the file cuts crazy slow.  This is because of how many nodes (little points in the design) are in that file type.  It happens with every single DXF file.  I highly recommend doing a tiny offset of the DXF cutting line and cut the offset on your machine instead of the original line.  Your cutting time will be drastically sped up!
No matter which design speaks to you more, I would love to see what your finished roll looks like.  Who doesn’t need a little chuckle?
Head over to our Facebook Community and show it off!  I want to celebrate with you and cheer you on.

Favorite Crafting Supplies

I get asked regularly what some of my favorites are to craft with.  My favorite spot to shop for vinyl (both adhesive and heat transfer vinyl) is hands down Expressions Vinyl.

And, I love the convenience of shopping on Amazon.  Check out all of my Amazon favorites and crafting tools here in my Amazon shop.

More Toilet Paper Designs

Inside of our membership, Club Chaos we have tons of toilet paper SVG files.  Our Club houses exclusive SVG files, project tutorials, guest designers, and more.

While the downloads in the Club are amazing the best part is the creative energy found inside.  Club members get their own FB community and our members are so close they call it their crafty sisterhood.  I feel honored to be a part of it with them.

In addition to a monthly exclusive bundle of designs, members get project tutorials, fonts, member led workshops (a great way to share your talent), monthly guest designers and more. Crafting and creating is so much more fun (and meaningful) when you share it and your creations with others who get it and appreciate it the same way you do.

The Club is an amazing way to connect, get plugged in, and cheer others in our community on (plus get tons of awesome files to use!).

File Type Reminder when working with the Toilet Paper SVG designs:  Make sure you are uploading and using the SVG file if you want to ungroup, cut in different colors, and manipulate the elements.  When starting out, deciphering the various file types can be very confusing.

The description under file type inside the file folder once it is unzipped might say html file or even internet explorer file (these are both the SVG).  If you aren’t able to ungroup and manipulate the elements in the design you might be uploading the wrong file!  Read more about when to use what file and the difference between SVG and PNG file types.

Make Someone Smile

You probably know another crafty friend that would get a good laugh out of toilet paper designs.  Make sure to send them our way.
